Cookie Policy
What roduq.com stores in your browser. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy describes what roduq.com stores in your browser. The controller is Roduq Rafał Stefaniszyn — see our Privacy Policy for details.
In short
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We only store what the website needs to work or what you ask for, such as your chosen language. The law does not require consent for this (Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024, implementing Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive), so the website shows no cookie banner.
Cookies
- roduq_lang — remembers the language (Polish or English) you pick in the menu, so the website does not switch it automatically. Set only when you choose a language. Expires after 1 year. First-party (roduq.com).
Tab storage (sessionStorage)
This information is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent to the server:
- roduq:preloaded — the intro animation plays only once per tab;
- roduq:focus-destination — puts keyboard focus in the right place after moving to another page; removed straight after use;
- roduq:menu-lite — switches to a lighter menu animation on less powerful devices.
The keys roduq:menu-layer and roduq:cursor are only created during technical testing, when a special parameter is added to the page address.
Editorial panel
People who sign in to the editorial panel receive cookies needed to sign in and use the panel: payload-token (session, 2 hours), payload-lng and payload-theme (panel language and appearance) and, when previewing a draft, roduq-preview (15 minutes). Other visitors never receive them.
External content
- OpenStreetMap on the Contact page — when the map comes into view, your browser downloads map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s servers, which receive your IP address. We don’t use this for tracking.
- YouTube and Vimeo videos — the player loads only after you click play. YouTube runs in privacy-enhanced mode, but once a video starts, Google or Vimeo may store their own cookies and data in your browser under the Google Privacy Policy and the Vimeo Cookie Policy.
- Social networks and sharing — plain links, no plugins. The networks store nothing until you open them.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block roduq_lang, the website simply won’t remember your language.
Changes
If we start using other cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
